We’ve been receiving in-home therapy services from Brighter Strides for over a year, and our experience has been very positive. Both the supervisor and the therapist have been patient, professional, and genuinely committed to understanding our child’s unique needs. They also respect our preferences as parents, which has made the process feel truly collaborative.

The entire team consistently goes above and beyond to create a supportive and personalized environment. We also appreciate their flexibility with scheduling. While we understand that therapists have their own lives and occasionally need adjustments, which we’re happy to accommodate, it might be a consideration for families who need a more rigid schedule.

Over the course of his time in ABA, we saw tremendous growth in his social skills, communication and emotional regulation. The progress he made was beyond what we hoped for, and it’s been amazing to watch him gain confidence and independence.

A huge part of that success was thanks to the thoughtful and intentional approach of his BCBA. She always made sure he was paired with the RBT who would best support his needs at any given time, and those decisions made a real difference in his experience and progress.

We followed our ABA RBT from a competitor to Brighter Strides a few years ago and they accommodated us through that transition. My son had developed a close relationship with the RBT at the time so we really wanted to continue that relationship. My son was diagnosed with ASD just over 4 years ago and over that time we probably had 7 different RBTs across 3 companies. My son was with brighter strides for a bit over a year, today he graduated and I can’t sit here and lie and say I don’t feel emotional about not going anymore. If you’re looking for a team that’s loving, caring, patient and want to see your child achieve their goals I would definitely recommend brighter strides. Every single person has been amazing. The communication, the patience, organization they have has really exceeded what I thought how it could be. The way my son asked every day about going to school or about going to see his RBTs I knew he was being cared for as he should. I will forever be grateful to his team on how much they helped him improve in areas he struggled with at the beginning. He went from barely speaking to having conversations, not potty trained to potty trained, speaking his emotions instead of hitting. I don’t have much family out in GA and don’t have the village others have but I can definitely say the way they treated my son felt like they were apart of my village. I’ve been through the ups, the downs, the medication trials and tapers, the hospitalizations, the endless school calls, emails, and texts. I’ve felt the pain of isolation, the tears, the depression. I’ve experienced the failure of services that weren’t the right fit, and the heartbreak that comes when nothing seems to work. I’ve felt the physical, verbal, and emotional toll of parenting a child with extreme behavioral needs. I’ve been there, ready to give up with nowhere left to turn.

But I didn’t give up. And I’m writing this today to tell you not to either.

Brighter Strides ABA Therapy has been nothing short of life-changing for our family. Since starting services with them, and more importantly, with the right team, my son has gone from 50 aggressive behaviors in an hour to five or fewer a week. Sometimes even none. That’s not an exaggeration. It’s a testament to the power of the right support, the right medication plan, and the right people.

To Hannah and Kuri, our BCBA and RBT, you have not only changed my son’s life, you have saved my mental health as a parent. You’ve brought peace and hope back into our home. I will forever be indebted to you.
