With more than 12 years of experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Erica Allen has grown from an RBT to a BCBA, Clinical Supervisor, and now Clinical Director of Brighter Strides ABA Charlotte overseeing staff development, client care, and clinical operations. Leading with compassion and collaboration—combining hands-on clinical expertise with a dedication to mentoring the next generation of clinicians—she ensures that every child and family receives ethical, high-quality care from a team committed to excellence.
Originally from York, PA, Erica graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BA in Developmental Psychology and earned her Masters of Education degree in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She began her career as an undergraduate intern in a partial hospital setting, where she learned PBIS strategies and worked directly with children on the autism spectrum—an experience that confirmed she had found her calling.
Rooted in her Catholic upbringing, shaped by the strong example of her parent’s service and resilience, and inspired by the scientific tenets of ABA, Erica believes that every person is worthy of love, dignity, and the opportunity to live a meaningful life. This philosophy translates to an unwavering dedication to individualized, assent-based, and family-focused care that celebrates every milestone, big or small.
