Brighter Strides ABA

Brighter Minds Fellowship Program

We nurture employees on the path to becoming Behavior Analysts through thoughtful, hands-on supervision.

Program Objectives

Structured fieldwork supervision to support future BCBAs.

The Brighter Minds Fellowship (BMF) is a dedicated fieldwork supervision program open to current employees pursuing their Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) certification.

By tracking progress and skills acquisition throughout the fieldwork process, we ensure Fellows are matched with appropriate fieldwork supervisors, experiences, and assignments. Through teamwork and mentorship, our Fellows gain a standardized, comprehensive fieldwork experience that prepares them for a confident, competent, and compassionate BCBA career.

How It works

Meeting BCBA fieldwork supervision requirements through collaboration and mentorship.

Employees at every stage of their BCBA certification journey are welcome to join the Brighter Minds Fellowship.

Based on accumulated fieldwork hours, completed coursework, and skills assessments—each Fellow is placed into one of four groups to begin and advance through the program. While Fellows are encouraged to include all eligible supervisors in their contracts, each person is paired with a Responsible Supervisor (RS) who serves as their primary supervisor on record.

Foundation Fellows

are newly-enrolled in a graduate program with less than 500 fieldwork hours accrued and a < 30% overall score on skills assessment. Fieldwork focuses on accruing restricted hours while strengthening RBT-level skills and applying ABA principles to the delivery and measurement of ABA interventions.

Integration Fellows

have completed the first semester of their graduate program with 500-1000 fieldwork hours accrued and a < 55% overall score on skills assessment. Fieldwork focuses on assessment processes and hands-on engagement with client programming, including the client’s Learning Tree within CentralReach.

Application Fellows

are more than halfway through their graduate program with greater than 750 fieldwork hours accrued and a > 55% overall score on skills assessment. Fieldwork focuses on the accrual of unrestricted hours through asynchronous assignments designed to build competencies aligned with the BCBA job description.

Generalization Fellows

will be graduating within 3 months with less than 400 fieldwork hours remaining. Fieldwork focuses on gaining direct experience by leading active practice treatment planning, parent training, report writing, and more—all with constructive supervisor feedback.

Success Stories

Perhaps the most compelling way to showcase the impact of our work
