Hi, I’m Alena! I currently serve as Regional Clinical Director for Brighter Strides ABA. I have been in the field of ABA since 2016 and have worked with individuals ages 2-21 across a variety of settings including in home, schools, the community as well as clinic settings. I have a strong passion for clinical quality and dedicated 2 years to serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the BACB. When I do not have my nose stuck in a graph analyzing data, I love to spend time with my husband and two children going to the library, traveling, or trying a fun new place to eat!
Ashley is a natural leader, dog mom, & foodie with a passion for working with kids and caregivers through some of life’s most challenging moments. She received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Arizona in Speech, Hearing, & Language Sciences in 2011, and has worked in the ABA space since 2012. In this time, Ashley has worked in homes, schools, daycares, after school programs, residential settings, you name it! Working in the natural settings in which families face struggles quickly became a job which she looked forward to clocking in for. In 2021, Ashley became a BCBA and gained experience in clinics as well. As a BCBA, she prioritizes collaboration with the family, paired with a strong focus on caregiver education for effective and long lasting outcomes. This, coupled with her ability to connect with children/caregivers and meet them where they are, provides an individualized experience in which all can meet their goal!
I have experience working with children ages 1-16 across a wide range of skill levels and support needs. Currently, I have a caseload of clients and am also conducting diagnostic assessments for the Brighter Strides Psychologist. I live in Utah with my husband, and we love spending time outdoors running, mountain biking, hiking, or skiing together.
